Sarah Diringer has over 10 years of experience working with local and national non-profits, universities, government agencies, and philanthropic organizations to advance environmental sustainability and community resilience, with a particular focus on water and climate.

Before founding Sarah Diringer Consulting, Sarah served as Program Officer for Water and Climate at the Pisces Foundation, where she led strategy and grantmaking initiatives to support sustainable urban water systems and reduce super pollutants on a global scale. Prior to that, as a Senior Researcher at the Pacific Institute, she led research and outreach efforts to integrate community-driven, multi-benefit solutions into water policy.

Sarah earned a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University, where she collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to address the public health impacts of gold mining and river pollution in Peru. She also holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from UCLA.
